Tokyo Supercars KK is excited to present a full track day experience at Chiba's famous Mobara Twin Circuit. The day is planned out to involve three different disciplines to make the best out of this experience.
During the first session of the track day, you will get into a quick little Go Kart, and you will have 15 laps of practice in order to get used to the Go Kart and learn the track. It is essential to know every corner of the track very well in order to go as fast as possible. Each Go Kart is equipped with a timer and at the end of the practice session, you will be provided your time results, including your quickest lap.
After the practice laps, there will be a 10 lap race between you and the other participants.
Racing helmets and racing gloves are provided, however please do not forget to bring long sleeves and long pants as a part of the circuit safety rules, otherwise you will not be allowed to go out onto the track.
Tokyo Supercars KK will provide three cars: A grip driving oriented Toyota GT86 (ZN6), and two drift cars, another GT86 and a Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA8C), as well as staff to assist with tire changes and help you with the cars.
The next session will be divided between grip and drift. The wide paddock in the middle of the race track provides a perfect open space to practice drifting. This is suitable for all levels, and beginners are welcome. It takes you through a journey of the basics of car control, how the differential settings can help your car reach the spin and slide effect and how this translates to driving safely around a circuit and even the roads. An experienced instructor will help start you off and show you how to practice doing doughnuts and figure-of-eights around cones.
You will also be able to get behind the wheel of our grip focused GT86 and practice driving the same laps you drove earlier in the Go Kart. Using the experience and knowledge gained from the Go Kart session, you can push harder with the GT86 and do timed laps to get the best possible time around the circuit.
Both of the GT86's are modified with bits and pieces that make up great race cars - racing bucket seats, racing steering wheels, and modifications to the chassis and suspension.
Our staff and professional drivers will be there to guide you every step of the way and provide assistance as well as valuable tips and advice on how to improve and get the best out of this race track experience.
