As the predecessor of the 458 Spider, the F430 was considered to be the first mid-engine V8 Ferrari to truly be a product of the 21st Century. Taking inspiration from Ferrari’s legendary Enzo hypercar, the F430 introduced the manettino driver select switch on the steering wheel. Being the Spider version, the open-top driving experience harks back to Ferrari’s great barchetta road racers of the 50s and 60s.
